Do you think its cruel to teach a child how to become a switch hitter?

do you think your kind of over controlling your son/daughter's life by making bat from both sides of the plate?

i know what im trying to say is confusing but think about people who write left handed were forced to write with their right.you making your son/daughter do something for your selfish reasonsDo you think its cruel to teach a child how to become a switch hitter?
DEPENDS...IF THE KID WANTS TO LEARN HOW TO SWITCH HIT, WHY NOT TEACH HIM? BUT IF THE KID IS BEING FORCED WELL, THEN YES ITS A LITTLE BIT CRUEL.Do you think its cruel to teach a child how to become a switch hitter?
Yes I do, the child is a child let her/him be one and stop livng your dreams through your child.
No it's not cruel or selfish. Your kid will thank you eventually. Just don't overly force it. But it will really help them in the long run.
ask mark texiera's if he thinks his parents teaching him that were wrong. betcha he says hell no!
It is not cruel if your child is show an interest in it then go for it. Your child will think you later for teaching them how to switch it because that is a good asset to have when you get higher up in the competition.
No, its not cruel. It may not be the right decision, but I'd set a much higher threshold for the mistreatment of a kid before I call it cruel.
No not cruel
No, I don't think it's cruel. Teaching and forcing are two completely different things. I guess if the parent was withholding food/love/shelter, etc... until the kid could switch hit then it would be cruel. Other than that, I see it as a parent teaching their child to be a better ball player, and in that, spending quality time with their child which is never a bad thing.
lol, first of all, ambidexterity forces a human to use both sides of his brain, meaning his intelligence and motor skills abillitys go waaaay up.

Also if your forgetting switch hitters are the most succsesful hitters in baseball?
Yes, teach your child to hit both handed, throw both handed and kick both handed. It can not hurt.
If your child is struggling with it I would not continue to do it.
