How to train my left hand?

i'm right handed and thought i'd want to be able to work with my left hand too. i'm already practising on it and i don't see any progress. i've tried writing with my left hand but that doesn't work. i somehow feel comfortable using my left hand because it makes me feel like i'm doing something new and interesting. and i've also heard that it helps to improve our right brain.

what are some things i can do to train my left hand? is it really possible to be ambidextrous? if i can't i wouldn't really mind being only mixed handed. i'd just want to be able to use my left hand for something. can you suggest some activities? i really really want to be able to do it. and i wouldn't really mind if it takes up more time than i'd expected. but please help me , i really want to be ambidextrous, or at least, mixed handed. your help is deeply apprecaited. How to train my left hand?
practice writing on a chalk board with you left hand so you learn how to form the letters...

then when you think your good at the chalkboard try a large paper.....

then a loose leaf...

and so onHow to train my left hand?
I am a Lefty myself in most things but i do have some ambidextrous uses.

Not sure how you learn as i have just always been like this. I guess it cannot hurt to try -- you never know the outcome.
as a left-hander, i think the best way to train your left hand is to use it in daily activities.

i watched in a documentry that when it comes to using the weaker hand, left-handers do alot better than right-handers. cos being born into a world mainly meant for right-handers, left-handers are forced to use their rigth hands to perform certain tasks. that means we are constantly training our right hands.

lets say you hold the sponge with your right hand when washing dishes, you can try to use your left hand. and so on...you can think of many others.

i'm not sure if this will help you in your writing, but i think the overall performance of your left hand will improve over time.
The word 'ambidextrous' is totally overused IMO. Everyone is ambidextrous, in one way or another. We all use BOTH our hands for various tasks. So anyone claiming to be ambidextrous is just blowing off, really.

I know 3 lefty acquaintances who can do alot of things with their right hands. I've seen them throw things, catch things and play games with their right hands. One is a left handed musician and even snaps his fingers with either his right or left hand. Two of them uses a computer mouse with the right hand. But it's rarer for a right handed person to use the left hand for much of anything except for simplest of tasks such as holding down and grasping, etc....

IMO it's easier for a left handed person to become mix handed than for a right handed person to become mix handed. It's just something that comes easier for left handers. Why? I dunno! But studies have shown that left handed people can process ideas and solutions to problems using many different pathways in the brain, whereas right handed people only process using one pathway at a time, or something along those lines. Left handed people tend to look at many more different angles and depths of things, compared to right handers. So I guess this contributes to why lefties are more creative?

My advice is to just practice and see if you can become little better at it. It certaintly will improve over time! And it might just enhance that right brain of yours.
