I want to learn how, because right now my left hand writes like an above average 1st/2nd grader (readable but not pretty). Is it possible to practice it and make it as good as my write hand (which although I am in high school, my teacher says my handwriting is like a 4th grade boy)Is it possible to learn to write with your left hand?
Oh yeah, if you practice, practice, practice you can. I'm left handed, but I've had my left hand in a cast twice (4 weeks, then 6 weeks, about 10 years apart) I was able to write with my right hand legibly after about a week in both cases, but when the cast came off I lost the ability quickly.
And BTW, as to penmanship, after almost 20 years working in high tech I can tell you this: the bigger the brain, the worse the handwriting. The only exception I've found is people who, as kids, decided to train themselves to write legibly. I did that, and when I write something to be read by others...Clear and legible! When I'm just taking notes for my own use...it looks like the scrawling of a 19th century mental patient.
But I can read it! And that would make me... a 19th century...mental...Oh my.Is it possible to learn to write with your left hand?
You can learn anything. I can write with my left hand, it's still not as good as with my right, but it's legible. Just practice.
I write with my left hand very well, even cursive writing. with my right hand, I write like a 1st grade student.
I've been writing with my left hand for years and it still looks like 2nd grade. I think practice is the way to learn it because that's how we learn to right with the hand we use now.
It is possible. I'm right handed and I learned to play the guitar backwards for example. It takes a lot of time and practice. However, I would just try to continue improving the hand you usually write with because it's not like your other hand will miraculously improve your handwriting where your dominate hand couldn't. Just keep practicing girl.
it's definitely possible. I've written with my left hand my entire life. LOL ;)
anyway, it is possible, but I don't recommend it. Writing with your opposite hand messing with your brain's configuration and can cause learning blocks. Tell your teacher to **** off or to let you type everything.
