Ambidextrous people are people who can write equally as well with both hands, their not left handed or right handed they are both. I want to become ambidextrous so what SPECIFIC exercises can I do so I can become ambidextrous if your gonna say practice writing with your non-dominant hand (hand you don't write with) tell me how I can practice writing with my left hand ie. writing alphabet etc. I prefer more creative waysWhat specific exercises can I do to become ambidextrous?
haha i started out writing the alphabet and then when i got somewhat comfortable with that i started to write alternating words or letters between both hands. For example, although it took me an extremely long time, i wrote an entire history paper alternating between left and right hand for every LETTER. it was a pain, but i stuck with it. Then i started to eat with my left hand. I am asian and i use chopsticks so it was challenging at first but i got used to it =]What specific exercises can I do to become ambidextrous?
Practice doing things you would normally do with your right hand, but do it with your left hand... not just writing. For instance, I started brushing my teeth with my left hand. It was incredible awkward at first, but now it's quite natural. (Although, my right hand still feels more dominant) What you're doing is rewiring your brain so that more connections are going to your left hand. With more connections, you'll be able to use your left hand and you'll notice your hand getting stronger too. It takes awhile, but if you're diligent, you'll see the change!
Practice! Seriously, I just started doing more things left handed. I like to doodle, so I started using my left hand (especially since no one would have to see it) and I wrote whenever I could left handed. This is one thing that WILL have results with just a few changes. I am quite proficient with both hands and I would encourage everyone to do the same because you never know.....
we are born that way. i think its easier when born a lefty. do everything with the hand thats not your dominant.
