i have this problem to, so you can either do it really slowly and carefully or theres these like nail stencil stickers you can get which you can put all around the nail, and then paint and it looks good.
oh and to stop biting if you've tried the gross taste stuff you could always try wearing like latex or wooly gloves for a while until you stop a while back i always had my nails in my mouth so i wore latex gloves for a while and forgot about it.
sounds weird but it worked for meHow do you paint your right hand with your left when you are right handed?
well, your not ambidextrous, that means you can write with either hand and do things either hand and still have the same quality, everyone can write a little with their other hand, its just not as great as the other. you can either practice or you can get someone else to do it. there really are no tricks or tips that i know of, apart from being careful, not going too fast and just practicing. you can get this special nail polish that horrible (its clear, so you can put it over your other nail polish) and it is disgusting and makes most people stop.
If you rest your left hand on a table and move your right hand to direct where the nail polish goes that helps.Nail biting is a habit and you don't even realise half the time that you are doing it.So the best way i feel is to paint your nails with the bitter paint that's sold to stop nail biting. If anything it's a sharp reminder every time you do start to bite them.
I's always going to be difficult. You have to go slow, take your time, and be careful. Try balancing your left hand on the table so that it's not as shaky when painting.
And to stop biting, there are these bitter polishes at CVS or other drugstores for a few bucks which you can get. Or paint your nails!! They will look so pretty, you won't wanna mess them up by biting them
(I have the same problem)
i think ambidextrous is when you are equal with both hands.
and when you're painting your right hand, try to get the most even color on as possible. dont worry about your cuticles, just try to keep your hand steady.
then after everything is dry, get a q-tip, dip it in nail polish remover and get the excess off. it will look just as good as your left hand.
and to stop biting your nails, paint many coats of nail polish on. that tastes nasty. and whenever you get the urge to bite your nails, chew some gum instead.
hope this helped you!
To not bite nails Id say paint em. Have a friend paint them if you can't do it well...
Anyways, nails arnt my specialty.
To make or break a habit you have to do something for 21 days. If you can last that long then you will be ok. Survive 21 days without biting your nails and the habit should be broken.
Practice, practice, practice. I used to have a really hard time painting my right hand. (Still do.) But you get better at it over time.
very carefully
Just take your time. You'll learn it.
Use your left foot?
get someone to do it for you?
Okay, so first, I wouldn't really call that ambidextrous because that would mean you are equally skilled at writing in both hands (the writing will look the same). Second, I have the same problem, and I found that Sally Hansen's nail pens work really well. Their kinda like sharpies, BUT FOR YOUR NAILS! Their really easy and neat, except I wouldn't get the french manicure because the white pen doesn't work very well. Also, for biting your nails, if you intake more calcium, it will be harder for you to bite you nails. One reason many people bite their nails is because their not getting enough calcium so they consume calcium from their nails. Also, chewing gum or any other habit (related to biting or your nails) can replace your habit of nail biting. You can find a chemical called Bitrex at your local pharmacy and this gives off a foul taste to stop you from biting you nail. Simply apply a coat a few times a day, and you'll stop biting your nails! Hope this helps ;)
