im a lefty and i know the majority of people are right handed, so what determines what hand you use to write with... and how are some people both handed????What determines if your left, right handed?
The three most popular theories are brain wiring, genetics and birth trauma and difference.
The brain is cross-wired, so the left hemisphere controls the right handed side of the body and vice-versa .
The left hemisphere controls speech, language, writing, logic, mathematics, science (linear thinking), while the right hemisphere controls music, art, creativity, perception, emotions and genius (holistic thinking)!
About 1 in 10 people are left-handed.Approximately 26% of children from two left-handed parents will be left-handed.Only around 9% children from two right-handed parents will be left-handed. Left or righthandedness runs in families, but this may be due to similar thinking patterns developed by living together.
According to the New England Journal of Medicine, mothers giving birth later on in life are more likely to produce a left-handed child. Mothers between the ages of 30 and 35 have a 25% higher chance of producing a lefty
Few people are ambidextrous in a balanced way, preferring a particular hand for a certain task. The majority are lefthanders who were forced to write with their right by family or school in childhood. Those born 'crosswired' are very rare indeed. What determines if your left, right handed?
which hand is stronger
Only left handed people are in there right mind. lol
I'm ambidextrous, (both handed) and being dyslexic, I can read and write backward.
It's all in the genes, most have Levi's or Wrangler , a lucky few get the designer stuff
