1. When you're typing on a keyboard, do you press the spacebar with your right or left hand? (And I have the LG Voyager which has two spacebars one on the left and one on the right, would you press the left one or the right one?)
2. Is it wrong to have a hooked wrist when writing because to me that's what feels more comfortable obviously because I'm a righty
3. How long do you think it would take for me to learn to write left handed!

I switch between thumbs when I'm typing, but most times I use my right thumb.
Every one writes differently so it isn't really wrong to hook your wrist, but if you want to look more natural or are going to stop eventually, you may want to try writing exactly as you do with your right hand now.
I did the same thing you did, but from left to right instead. I didn't really practice every day with it but when I wrote something and it didn't matter how it looked I would use my right instead. It took me about a year for my writing to look like I had always written with that hand. About four months after I started I only wrote with my right hand. I wouldn't allow myself to use my left hand for nearly a year and I got so used to using my right hand that I actually can't write with my left hand any more. So I wouldn't advise only using your left hand.

3. as long as it takes - everyone is different - just keep practicing
writing with different hands is like making a mirror. Just think of that and it might help. (oh and i use my right hand to press my space bar.)
You can't teach yourself to write left-handed. It's impossible.
