How is this possible?

alright i'm right handed and can't write with my left hand....but when i started playing guitar hero...my friend (who plays the real guitar) asked me that if i'm a lefty too and i'm like what? have you ever seen me write with my left hand? and she says no but your playing the guitar as if your left handed and i was like really? so apparently i'm a lefty at guitar...i actually want to learn how to play bass or drums in the future....so i got 2 questions:

1. how is it possible to be right handed but left handed at guitar or bass?

2. how much would a left handed bass be and how hard is it to learn how to play it?How is this possible?
I'd buy a real lefty

if your local store doesn't carry them, they can order one

Fender, Ibanez, and Yamaha make the best low priced basses

some right handed basses can be switched, but many can't

the bridge saddles are wrong

it will cost more than $20 to get a right handed bass changed to a lefty

it will need a new nut, and new stringsHow is this possible?
1. No idea. It's the same odds as being left handed/right handed at writing I assume.

2. You could probably just flip the strings or a regular bass, like Jimi Hendrix did. But, if you want a lefty bass, I just looked on GuitarCenter.com and the bass that I have is like $20 more left-handed. But it's not a really good bass, so I assume the more expensive the bass the greater the discrepancy.

But don't base your decision to play an instrument on Guitar Hero. Guitar on there and in real life are nowhere near the same...
the same with me...im strictly right handed with writing and pretty much everything but when we played golf in gym or when i wash teh dishes...apparently i do it left handed? lol

its common you do some things better with one hand than the other =]]

hope that helped
yeah most right handed people play the guitar notes with their left hand, like me.
