Is it possible to change your primary handedness without realizing?

I am right handed.

After many years of martial arts training, my right hand has slowly become more stiff and painful. Just recently, I cut my left hand over a piece of glass.

With a bandage on my left hand, it became obvious to me how much I wanted to do normal routine manual activities with my left hand, such as combing my hair, washing and scrubbing dishes, brushing my teeth, opening the door, etc... After contemplation, I recall actually using my left hand to write when having something heavy in my right arm.

It wasn't anything sudden. Just recently over the past few months. Is it possible that I am converting to left handedness and not realizing? Is my body adapting to the slow loss of manual dexterity in my right hand?

Is it possible to switch primary hands? Moreover, without even putting a conscience effort into the change? Is it possible to change your primary handedness without realizing?
I think it is possible to switch your primary hand. It happens depending on the demand of that hand. You feel like you are not putting any effort, but you are. You just don't know it. On the positive side, it is one of the best things that could happen to you, despite you getting hurt. Ambidexterity is awesome, using both hands anytime you desire. It increases your brain power and make you smarter, and it makes you more alert. I think you may want to Research using your least-dominant hand on Google with key words like, using both hands, dominant hand, left handed, ambidexterity...etc, and etc.
